Somewhere on the Texas/Louisiana Border, 1959

These images include both black and white and color. They were all taken in the late ’50s and early ’60s. Every one of these photographs happened during road trips to the southeast or in California. The photographs in Louisiana and Texas were even taken from a moving car. The scenes were compelling and momentary and there was no place or time to stop along the road. It was a matter of shooting from the car while it was moving or missing the opportunity.
